Edouard Quemper (He/Him) is a 20 year old artists from Germany who is currently a first-year concept art student at New3dge, set to graduate in 2026. He specializes in environment design, while also enjoying character design and painting. With his half-Chinese heritage, he has a deep passion for depicting the vast culture of Asia, focusing on creating original yet historically accurate designs.

Inspired by his travels, Edouard created The Lijiang Umbrella Shop as a personal project that captures the warm and bustling atmosphere at the heart of the old town of Lijiang, a traditional Chinese village in Yunnan province. Sunlight filters through the canopy of vibrant paper umbrellas, both hanging from the eaves and suspended overhead. The scene comes alive with figures chatting, while a lone visitor gazes upward in wonder at the shop.
